The Winey CO2 offer is the fruit of more than 15 years of experience in the capture of fermentation CO2 and its reuse. It was launched in December 2022 after several tests within properties in the Bordeaux region and within cooperative cellars in France.
It responds to a request from winegrowers to strengthen their CSR (Social and Environmental Responsibility) policy, to reduce their CO2 purchase costs, to limit their dependence by operating in total autonomy, to respect natural resources as much as possible and to reduce their carbon footprint.
We advise the properties in setting up CO2 capture networks within the cellars as well as solutions to reuse this CO2 internally, according to the expectations of each property, or to market it externally. Four offers exist: CO2 Network, CO2 Inert, CO2 Vinif and CO2 Water.
We are also working on the development of a new offer: Less Alco to reduce the alcohol content of wines during the fermentation phase in order to maintain the balance of wines, despite climate change.
